Left 4 Dead

My Boyfriend is obsseeeesssed with this game. I’m starting to think I am too (I get nightmares though)

For those of you that do not know, Left 4 dead is a game in the PC where  4 people are stuck in the heart of the city. Not an ordinary city, a city infested with zombies. It started out as small infection like in the movie, 28 days later (which I LOVED..and it gave me nightmares too), then you have to fight your way to the rescue points. It’s pretty fun, even if they tease me cause I’m a girl. I am pretty kick ass “for a girl”.

This is the awesome (kinda scary) intro movie for Left 4 Dead:

The four characters are Louis, Zoey, Francis, and Bill.

Louis is the tall bald black guy.

Zoey is the kickass  girl. (My favorite!)

Francis is the big buff army guy, who my boyfriend says looks like Chuck Lidell (some boxer guy?).

Bill is the old cranky guy, that for some reason always dies first when I play haha. Oh Bill.

Oh dear, I hope I don’t sound too geeky. I love video games. I love them more when I get to play them with my friends. If you haven’t tried Left 4 Dead, YOU SHOULD!

There are two mode of play, the normal coop version and the VS mode.
The coop version is just like what you see in the video, you trying to escape the city. It’s good fun, that’s what I usually play. The VS mode is similar, but most of the special infected(zombies) are controlled by humans. It will be a 4 vs 4 (+ the computer zombies). It’s fun, but my boyfriend doesn’t like being on the same team when I play VS mode He says I’m too slow

Let me tell you about the “special infected” people..zombies..units. Let’s just call them “Special”

First and most common (AND REALLY SCARY) is the “Hunter”. The hunter is normal looking zombie that likes hoodies lol. He can move like the rest, but he is very very very very hard to shoot when the person playing him is good. They pounce on you and tear you apart. “They’re good in groups, but are weak when they attack alone.” is what Jim tells me, I just know they are scary.

The “Smoker”. He’s the one with a really long tongue and coughs alot. He’s the most gross infected there is. He’ll “snipe” you with his tongue. It will wrap around you. Then strangle and drag you to him where he’ll proceed to tear you up with his claws. Hurrah.

The “boomer”. It’s the fat exploding zombie. I don’t know why, but my boyfriend says this is the most powerful team guy. He dies in a few hits, explodes, and makes gross sounds. That’s all I know about this guy. Oh and he pukes at amazing range. Very Gross.

The TANK. H’e big. He’s mean. He’s very noisy. Not that scary looking though, just buff and noisy. He does throw huge blocks of concrete at you.
